Multiple Calls Received From Panicked Drivers Through 911 System
“Missiles” on a Pickup Truck?! Florida Troopers Pull Over “Rocket Man,” identified as retired Air Force Veteran- Michael Nipper-on Sunday, March 22, 2026. Drivers on Interstate 4 were losing it Sunday, flooding the Florida Highway Patrol with calls about a truck that looked straight out of an action movie — complete with what everyone swore were real missiles mounted on the back! Troopers caught up with him on SR-39 near Plant City… and immediately nicknamed the driver “Rocket Man.” Spoiler: the “missiles” were just plastic props for shows and events. Everything checked out safe! After the all-clear, officers gave him some friendly tips on how to haul them next time so he doesn’t accidentally scare the daylights out of everyone on the highway.
